I already have a domain address. Can I still use it?
- Of course! We work closely with various domain providers so the transition to our hosting provider should be seamless. Because it is an existing domain, account information may need to be provided to access the account for set-up. If you do not have a domain yet, we can provide domain names at very low cost if not already bundled with your package.
My department currently uses another company for our web services. Is it possible to transfer content over to ProFireSites?
- Absolutely. We make the transfer of content as trouble-free as possible. We will move all requested content over to your new home.
How long is the build process?
- It all depends on the site. A basic site may take as little as a week while a more advanced site may take up to a month to create. A custom site includes banners, logos, backgrounds, photography, etc. which can undoubtedly prolong the build process.
Will I have access to edit my site?
- Yes. All plans include an Admin account which allows you to have the highest level of editing. Premium and Ultimate Memberships include multi-editor access granting others to have access to the edit process. They may or may not have the same level of editing as the Admin account, depending on their permission levels.
Are there any contracts with ProFireSites?
- Simple answer: No. We do not believe in contracts for our services. We believe in the freedom of choice and, therefore, do not tie down departments.
Are there any penalties to canceling service?
- We believe our clients have the right to choose. Therefore, there are no unnecessary cancellation fees other than what is agreed upon in the work agreement. For example, a client chooses a domain name for the term length of 3 years. The client cancels at 2 years of service. The client will be responsible for the remainder of 1 year due to ongoing costs associated with the domain.
How am I billed?
- We provide flexible payment options. Depending on what is right for you, you will receive an invoice online, by mail, or email. We currently accept the following payment options: check, credit card, and PayPal.
I am having trouble making changes to our site. Can you help?
- Although we are small staffed, we will make every effort in assisting you in making changes.
Can I switch between packages?
- Yes. You may upgrade or downgrade to any package at any time. A prorated charge will be reflected on your next statement.
